As a pilot project exploring how transportation systems can connect to cultural institutions, this two-fold project investigates the connection between the Trianglen Metro Station and Enigma Museum through spatial anchors and digital triggers that invite Metro passengers and museum visitors to explore an installation that hosts Engima’s Mobile Cafe and an augmented-reality exhibition experience.

What started as an exercise in figuring out how to use my two most underused colors - purple and pinks, has triggered thoughts about gendered aesthetics. Reuse and reducing waste is a main principle in my artistic practice and has been a useful tool in finding new approaches to my work.

Transit Stations as Cultural Drivers investigates the role of art in transit spaces through the design of exhibition elements that can host temporary artistic projects that challenge creative stakeholders in bringing local communities into cultural conversations.
