For my first semester in MA Spatial Design at the Royal Danish Academy, we explored how “we use the context to create meaningful interventions, how we curate narratives about context through spatial design and how we allow the context to be a changing and active agent in our designs.” During the series of 3 phases, it was my first experience with architectural drawings and models at different scales, however I picked up not only technical but presentation skills as well. With the semester led by Assistant Professor Christine Bjerke and with the guidance of my tutor Associate Professor Lise Juel, I developed my project entitled Stakkene (or the Stacks) which I proposed as an annex location to the Solvang Library.
